Challenge
Our client, a global manufacturing company, wanted to extend their services with near real-time monitoring and management panels for industrial equipment distributed worldwide. Their existing data processing setup struggled to meet performance, cost, and reliability expectations, especially given the sensitivity of operational data and correctness requirements.
The new solution had to support multiple data providers and consumers without disrupting existing integrations, while improving performance and reducing operational load. A key requirement was improved observability and systematic incident handling to decrease manual effort and allow faster issue resolution.
Solution
We designed and delivered an end-to-end data processing pipeline built on AWS capable of ingesting, processing, and delivering near real-time IoT event data. The architecture featured modular, deterministic streams and efficient data compaction into a structured data lake.
By applying cloud best practices and modern data processing frameworks, we ensured scalability, transparency, and maintainability. The solution was tested under real production-level loads to validate performance and reliability, as well as alignment with business expectations.
Results
The new platform cut operating costs by up to 90% compared to the legacy system while delivering real-time insights with improved data quality and reliability. Better observability and streamlined processes reduced operational effort and made the system more transparent for both technical and business teams.
We also provided onboarding sessions and documentation to the client’s developers and stakeholders, helping them to maintain and extend the platform with confidence. The solution now scales easily with growing data needs, supports rapid delivery of business requirements, and improves detection of data quality issues before they reach end customers.
